Game Rules

All NJIIHL games are played according to the current official NFHS Ice Hockey Rulebook,
except where modified by the NJSIAA or the NJIIHL.

Rule Precedence

In any situation involving conflicting rules, the following order of precedence applies:

•  NJIIHL rules take precedence over both NJSIAA and NFHS rules.

•  NJSIAA rules take precedence over NFHS rules.

•  NFHS rules serve as the foundational rulebook.
