New Jersey Interscholastic Ice Hockey League

The Oldest and Largest High School Ice Hockey League in New Jersey.
The Heart of New Jersey Hockey
Founded in 1957, the New Jersey Interscholastic Ice Hockey League (NJIIHL) stands as the cornerstone of high school hockey in the Garden State. As the state’s oldest and largest league, we are proud to host 49 teams across 7 conferences, including the renowned Gordon Conference—the premier stage for New Jersey’s most elite high school programs.
What began as a fledgling five-team league—then known as the North Jersey Scholastic Hockey League—has grown into the state's oldest and largest athletic organization dedicated to the sport.
